FOREARM AND ELBOW PROTECTOR (right, left)
The forearm and elbow protector affords protection over the forearm’s inner and outer side and covers the region of the radial and cubital bones, elbow and, partly the lower arm. This protector’s base is formed with a congruently shaped segment (composed of the polyurethane foam / Raschel knitwear), onto which the ribbing-reinforced plastic protectors are sewn. Fitted onto the elbow bone over the outer forearm, this protector is upholstered with shock-resistant material so as to enhance the anti-coup effect and eliminate the impact-resulted energy. Forearm and elbow protector is the loose-detachable part of the counter-blow unit. Based on a simple and easy dressing on, its fastening system provides for a high variability of ways how to apply or not this protector accordingly to a number of circumstances. The cramping is solved with a set of interlacing loops and Velcro-ended rubber belts. The proper fastening of this protector onto the body protector is solved through loosely adjustable and Velcro-ended belt, being interlaced through the loop, which is solid-sewn onto the shoulder part of the body protective vest ( in addition to a set of interlacing loops, onto them the shoulder protector is fastened). For an easy manipulation at cramping the protector without any other person to assist, the rubber is solid-sewn onto the region of elbow protector. When in cramping the protector on, you have to pull your hand through this protector, then "set it down" on the hand and execute its own adjustment and fastening of all the other protector’s parts. You have imperatively to use the correct type of protector for the left and right upper arm. Beware of not to reverse them.
The forearm and elbow protector is manufactured in several basic sizes, the main difference between them consisting in the length of plastic protectors. On-width fixation is variable, and the fastening is secured onto all the sizes.
